The perching stool was a redesign of an original healthcare product, which offered an improved user experience.

The design aimed to assist people with poor posture and back pains when standing or sitting for long periods.

Through the exploration of existing mechanisms, a combination was selected based on their ease of use and portability. Adding detailed design considerations including ergonomics, led to a modern and transportable design, catered to on the go lifestyles.
