LINK is an alternative reusable band that transcends to all festival events, designed to reduce the waste created by current single-use bands. The sustainable solution also aimed to increase efficiency within festivals to provide a more seamless event for its users.

New users can order LINK bands with a deposit and connect to the accompanying app to activate their band before the festival. For convenience, users can load money onto their wristband by processing payments through the app, avoiding unnecessary queues.

​

With approval, features including ‘locate my mates’, allows users to access their friend’s location during busy events. Users will also be requested to supply St John’s Ambulance with access to user-health information in case of emergencies, providing a safer event for all festival-goers.

Upon the next event, users will already have their reusable LINK band and can keep the festivals recognition tag for memorabilia on their key chain. Otherwise, users can return their link band to be recycled and receive a percentage of their deposit back.
